Auto surfing brings traffic to a site automatically, meaning, there is no certainty that the site is being seen by real people. This is fine with internet marketers who do not really care about showing the web pages to real people but just gaining a number of hits without much effort. This is best if the desired traffic is just to have an increase in the number of visitations but not really for promoting the products to people. This is because, as its title says, it automatically surfs the members’ sites without having to click or view the pages for promotion. One can just open the program and let it run by itself while doing other chores, and traffic will keep on increasing.

Manual surfing brings traffic to one’s site depending on how the member also browses other members’ sites within the program. During the surfing process, the member needs to click on an image in the page, and the timer counts down. When it is finished, that is the only time to click on the image to view another page. With this process, there is a certainty that there are real people viewing the site. Though time and effort are needed to get the desired traffic, it is good because the site will also be viewed by people who are also exerting their time and effort to visit other members’ sites. This is better for internet marketers who are concerned about their pages being seen by humans one at a time.

The decision as to what type of traffic exchange must be used lies on the internet marketers. Before joining the traffic exchange, it is best to know what is more important for the business. Is it the number of hits, or the certainty that people will view the site or page as shown within the program.
