Barclays rating cut by Moody’s to one just above ‘junk’



BARCLAYS bank is veering ever closer to becoming a “junk” lender after its ratings were slashed by Moody’s. The credit rating firm is concerned over the effect of the bank’s decision to ring-fence its high-risk trading from its British high-street retail banks.
