THE pound has tumbled against the US dollar today, falling to the lowest exchange rate of the week at a level of $1.313. This depreciation in Sterling follows the first day of President Donald Trump’s two-day visit to the UK; tellingly, Mr Trump has already caused a stir in the UK with his opinions about Brexit.
