HOUSE OF FRASER is understood to be reluctant to strike a rescue deal with Sports Direct billionaire Mike Ashley as it believes dealing with him will be too difficult. The troubled department store group is seeking a white knight after its proposed £70million rescue by C.banner, the Chinese owner of Hamley’s, abandoned its deal last week.
