THE pound is trading at a rate of €1.137 against the euro, which is still close to the three-month high struck on Friday. Last week saw Sterling rocket against the euro and many other currencies, mainly on reports that the UK and the EU were "very close" to securing a Brexit agreement that included a solution to the Irish border issue.
