TURKEY inflation rates soared to nearly 25 percent in September, marking the highest levels since President Recep Tayyip Erdogan came to power and putting further pressure on the lira. The latest data only deepens the growing currency crisis in Turkey, with the struggling lira having already lost nearly 40 percent of its value this year against the dollar.
