Pound-euro exchange rate: Traders ignore lacklustre UK services PMI and focus on Italy



Today, the pound is trading up around 0.3 percent against the euro at a rate of €1.143 as investors digest the news that momentum in the UK services sector slowed in October. Figures released this morning by statistics company Markit revealed that growth in the UK services sector fell to a seven-month low in October, with the main reason cited being uncertainty surrounding Brexit.
