BITCOIN’S tumultuous on-off relationship with $12,000 was back on again today as the world’s leading cryptocurrency surpassed $12,500. A series of huge upward steps overnight saw BTC rise almost $1,000 in a 12-hour period to within touching distance of $12,800 before looking to consolidate around the $12,500.
