The pound euro exchange rate fell this morning, leaving the pairing fluctuating around €1.089. Sterling has fallen against the euro and US dollar this morning, with GBP/EUR sliding 0.5 percent and hitting a 2-year low. The pound remains on the back foot following last week’s break down of negotiations between the UK and EU.
