The pound is trading statically against the euro today following the publication of weak flash PMI data, with GBP/EUR lingering around €1.199. The Pound stormed higher last week on the back of the UK election result and Sterling has largely retained those gains as traders remain optimistic that Boris Johnson will be able to deliver his Brexit deal and get the UK out of the EU by the end of January.
