Does Tesla accept Dogecoin?

Tesla CEO Elon Musk continues to bat for Dogecoin, a currency he has championed since early this year. Does Tesla accept Dogecoin?

Despite his continued support, Dogecoin holders seemed put off by Elon Musk's recent appearance on Saturday Night Live.

During the appearance, the currency haemorrhaged nearly a quarter of its total value, crashing to £0.32 from £0.47 after he joked it was a "hustle" in a skit.

But he remains convinced of its relative supremacy on the market and seems to be entertaining it as a payment alternative at Tesla.

Mr Musk has not made any official announcement just yet, but Dogecoin has responded.

Around the time he posted the poll at 9.15am yesterday, DOGE rallied.

At 9am, DOGE was worth £0.32, and by 9.30am it had risen to £0.36.

Since then, however, DOGE has dropped back down again to £0.32.
